General Terms and Conditions
The present General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) define the terms of the sales contracts and related legal relationships (hereinafter: Contract) established between Keleti Real Vendéglátóipari és Művészeti Szolgáltató Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (hereinafter: Service Provider) and the purchaser (hereinafter: Buyer or Consumer) ordering any product (hereinafter: Product) through the webshop available at http://www.madhousebudapest.hu. By placing an order from our webshop, you also accept the provisions of the present GTC.

Product Information: The Products sold in the webshop by the Service Provider include alcoholic beverages (hereinafter: Alcoholic Product) and related merchandising goods.

In case of a Consumer complaint, the Service Provider acts in accordance with the provisions of Act CLV of 1997 on consumer protection. In case of a consumer dispute, the Consumer is entitled to:
- Initiate proceedings by the Consumer Protection Authority,
- Enforce their rights through the courts,
- Initiate the procedure of the competent Conciliation Body (www.bekeltetes.hu).

Provisions for Resellers: The distribution and resale of Products purchased from the webshop to third parties are excluded by the Service Provider. Distribution is only possible based on a written agreement concluded with the Service Provider.
Contract Formation:

Contract offer | The offer from the Consumer is made by finalizing and sending the order. |
Binding period | The Buyer is bound by their offer for 48 hours. |
Confirmation | If the Buyer’s offer is not confirmed within 48 hours, the binding offer ceases to exist. The Contract is formed upon the Service Provider’s confirmation of the order via email. |
Age requirement | The Service Provider only sells Alcoholic Products to individuals over 18 years old. By accepting the GTC, the Buyer declares that they are over 18 at the time of concluding the Contract. |
Product Delivery and Acceptance:

Delivery method | The Product is delivered by a courier service to the location specified by the Buyer within the webshop’s options. |
Personal collection | If the Buyer opts for personal collection, the package must be collected within 2 weeks (14 days). After this period, the order will be canceled. |
Verification | If the Products include Alcoholic Products, the courier will verify that the recipient is over 18 years old. If the recipient cannot prove their age with an official ID, the courier will refuse delivery and return the Product to the dispatch location. The additional costs incurred will be borne by the Buyer. |
Upon receipt of the Products, the Buyer is obliged to verify the integrity, quantity, and quality of the Products. If any damage or deficiency is detected, the Buyer must notify the courier and request an official report. Without an official report, the Service Provider cannot accept subsequent claims for damages or deficiencies unless it can be proven that they existed at the time of dispatch.
Consumer Information Based on Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.):
Right of withdrawal | The consumer can exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days from the day the consumer or a third party other than the carrier takes possession of the product. |

Return of product | If the consumer withdraws from the contract, they must return the product immediately, but no later than fourteen days from the date of notifying the withdrawal. |
Cost of return | The consumer bears the cost of returning the product. The product must be returned to the Seller’s address. |
Exceptions | The Consumer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal in the case of sealed products that cannot be returned after opening due to health protection or hygiene reasons. |
Warranty for Defects and Product Warranty:
Warranty for Defects | In case of defective performance by the Service Provider, the Consumer can enforce a warranty claim against the business under the rules of the Civil Code. |

Product Warranty | In the event of a defect in a product, the Consumer can choose to request a repair or replacement. If repair or replacement is not possible, the Consumer can request a proportional reduction in the price or withdraw from the contract. |
Felelősség (Liability):

The Buyer uses the webshop at their own risk. The Service Provider is not liable for damages arising from the use of the webshop, except for damages caused intentionally, through gross negligence, or by criminal offense, or for damages to life, body, or health. |
